Photographer’s Adorable Little Girl Stars in His ‘Kiss Me Please’ Project
There is something enchanting about a kiss, especially when it is planted by one of our little young ones. This is precisely the appeal of photographer Toyokazu Nagano’s series called Kiss Me Please Project. The simple but beautiful shots taken by the Japanese photographer has got the photography community gushing with these adorably cute photos.
Nagano who is from Ishikawa, Japan has been doing what any doting father would do with a camera if he had an sweet and cute daughter; take pictures of her at every chance. But Nagano adds a special twist; he snaps shots of his daughter while she is invariably engaged in the act of kissing all sorts of objects, which just drives most people nuts with adoration.
This four-year-old girl demonstrates to us that some of life’s most complex matters can be solved by a simple kiss. The irresistible cuteness of his youngest daughter, Kanna, hopes to demonstrate that life’s most complicated matters can be solved with some of the simplest of gestures.
Nagano photographed his delightful Kanna with a Pentax 6×7 as she planted her enchanting kiss on all sorts of recipients. “Whether it is a fight between a couple, countries, and people, it is quite possible that everything can be solved with a simple kiss. With this in mind, my second daughter is expressing this idea by kissing different people and things. This project is to show that love can be spread and shared among people. We hope that it would bring peace to the world,” explained Nagano, of his faith in the all powerful kiss.
It is a simple but nonetheless compelling proposition put forth, and is quite credible especially when the kiss is coming from a sweet, well-meaning child like Kanna.
