If you developed an iPhone accessory, what endorsement could possibly be the ultimate? Well Steve Jobs singing praises would be the ultimate thumbs up, but for obvious reasons that’s not going to happen. So when you hear that Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak thinks your invention is a great idea, it just does not get any better than that. Wozniak recently gave his unsolicited support for a product that he thought was brilliant, not owing to any high tech breakthrough, but rather because of its sheer simplicity. We are talking about the credit card sized Pocket Tripod.
The Pocket Tripod is “The world’s first iPhone stand that can articulate to any imaginable angle, and can transform to the shape of a credit card. The stand allows you to position your iPhone in any direction and it can be conveniently tucked away into the size of approximately two credit cards stacked on top of one another.
Wozniak was certainly not one to hold back that he was impressed with the tiny accessory, “Great project. Never would have come about without a great deal of creativity and desire to do something different…it’s perfect for me. You can count me in. I never had thought that something like that could be done.”
It’s such a creative little invention that nearly 2,500 people have already joined in to fund it on Kickstarter. Wozniak went on to even say he would “cry if it doesn’t get fully funded.” Apparently that’s not going to happen with almost $40,000 more raised than they were targeting.
